Our
water usage continues to remain high
. Please make sure to check for
leaks, running toilets and dripping faucets, in and around your unit. Please do
not use any water for exterior use, such as watering plants or washing
vehicles.

We need to all work together to
prevent additional increases in the water bill.
The most recent bill for the billing period August 17, 2016 to September
21, 2016 was $25,266.52. This was a drop
from the previous months bill of $30,861.35 but this is still high.

While obtaining bids to install
individual meters on each building it has been identified that there is 32
connections coming into the 13 buildings. The estimated cost to install meters
is not cost effective at this time but other bids and ideas are still in
motion.

As mentioned in the July 18th
letter that was sent out a new assessment is being discussed for January
2017. This assessment is needed to cover
the continued overage of water and sewer bill, replenish the Reserve Account, the
new hot water heater for the #700 building and two additional leak repairs. A
letter will be sent out in December with the full details on this needed
assessment.

New information has been
released on a 200 percent surcharge for overages on water usage from the Water
Works Board. This is being researched to see how it may affect the associations
water bill. We will include more details in the December letter.
